Nuno Simões started training in 1994 with Mr. José Pedro Reyes, before everyone else in the Team!
Nuno Simões' path in the Songahm system has been one of endurance! Soon, he showed to be a very good sparring athlete, winning his first Taekwondo medals as a white belt in a WTF Taekwondo tournament.
Since that time, Nuno Simões has trained to be a sparring athlete more than a black belt. His option made him one of the best sparring athletes in Portugal, both in Songahm as in WTF Taekwondo.
However, in 2004, Nuno Simões decided that he had to perfect his Martial Art more than his sparring so he started training hard o his technique under the supervision of Pedro Tânger with whom he had shared many moments training and competing.
Nuno Simões developed very good technical skills and became a Black Belt in 2005. At that time he was already helping Pedro Tânger Instructing at the Cascais gym.
